A hazard buoy in Cherokee Slough is missing. I think the number is TR-2, and I think that we still have a few weeks until running aground on that spot becomes a possibility for most boats, but it's something that LMRA should know about, so if anyone has connections with them, please let them know.

To add some color to the story, we're pretty sure a pontoon boat entered the slough, then did a quick u-turn and ran smack over the buoy, near dusk on Saturday night. I guess they're lucky they did it now instead of a few weeks from now, and I wonder what they saw that caused them to make such a quick exit!
