What seems blatantly obvious to those of us who for many years have watched Europe commit societal suicide is apparently now penetrating the thick skull of Angela Merkel.  As a frequent traveler to Europe (mostly western) I have noticed a significant increase in the number of Muslims, the presence of areas in many large cities where white Christians are not advised to go, etc.  Europe's demise started with a combination of low birth rates and democratic socialism.  As Margaret Thatcher rightly pointed out, the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.  Well as they started to run out of other people's money they had to do something.

With low birth rates (many below replacement and some like Italy, unrecoverable) many western European countries faced a dilemma.  They no longer had the population of workers contributing tax dollars to pay for their socialist programs (all this being enabled by the U.S. paying for their defense).  Can't fix the birth rate problem?  No worries, we'll import Muslims (mostly from North Africa) with their high birth rates, assimilate them and viola, our problem is solved.  Except that is not what happened.  Not only did they not assimilate, far too many came to take and not contribute.  And even fewer embraced demcratic socialism and instead desire Sharia  What they have gotten though is the high birth rate which has left them with a large number of young Muslims unable to find gainful employment which are particularly susceptible to radicalization.  Europe has committed societal suicide and we currently have a President trying to do the same and a presumptive Democrat nominee that will certainly continue that suicidal path.

I have told all of my children to visit Europe now before they will have to wear a hajib or bhurka.  At least my son already has a beard so all he would need to do is treat women like chattel, pay the jizya and bow to Mecca five times per day.  Sadly I think this is far too little far too late and the Muslims will accomplish through immigration and high birth rates what they could not accomplish through force.  Think of an all Muslim majority Europe with a little isolated patch called Vatican city being the last remaining outpost of Christianity.  Not sure how long it will take but it seems to me inevitable.
