Just read in the Hill that there about 200 delegates that are in fact unbound headed into the convention. GOP rules require that delegates vote for whoever won them in the primary on at least the first vote. However, there are a few states (Colorado and North Dakota) and some territories that do not have primaries so technically those delegates can vote for whomever they want. In addition, any delegates won by candidates that have dropped out are also tehncially unbound. So while there are no superdelegates in the Democrat sense (i.e., they can pledge their delegates to a candidate that didn't in a state) there are some unbound delegates that go into the convention. I say partially right because the term supergelegate in the Democrat party is someone that can stick it the primary voter. No such delegate exists on the GOP side.
I can assure you that these 200 people are going to be very popular between now and the convention.
