I am not nearly as well traveled as I would like to be, but I have been to Europe 11 times since 1970 for 3 weeks to 9 weeks on each occasion and seen most of the western and central parts of that wonderful continent on more than one occasion.  I can guarantee you that you either have no idea how the middle class in most of Europe lives or you have no idea how the really poor in America live!  You have made lots of dumb statements on this forum, but the one above is probably the dumbest yet!  I suspect there are several on this forum who would also disagree with your assessment of Europe's middle class vs America's poor, but will not do so because they would never want to appear to be agreeing with "Archidiot" on any thing!
