Welcome to the lake and the Forum.  I received my LMRA newsletter today and there was a very well written article by Charles Borden, past president.  He stated that APCO has already declared that the mid October drawdown would not be achieved this year due to the summer drought.  APCO expects this to occur 20% of the time, or 1 in 5 years.  APCO also expects to hold the winter pool at 483 (is this really 482 on tho old measure?).  Charles also dropped a new concern regarding the COE wanting to permanently drop the lake level by 2 feet.  You should consider joining LMRA, it's a bargain at $25/year.
