Hillary Clinton on Saturday questioned FBI Director James Comey's decision to write to congressional leaders about emails uncovered in the bureau's probe into Anthony Weiner, saying the timing of such a move was "unprecedented" and "deeply troubling."

That's because 24 years ago, as former President George H.W. Bush was surging back against challenger Bill Clinton, a special prosecutor raised new charges against Bush in the Iran-Contra probe, prompting Clinton to claim he was running against a "culture of corruption."

Many Republicans claimed that the indictment made by special prosecutor Lawrence Walsh against former Reagan-era Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger the weekend before the 1992 election cost Bush a second term. The indictment, later thrown out, challenged Bush's claim that he did not know about a controversial arms-for-hostages deal that dogged the Reagan-Bush administration.

When it came, Clinton seized on it, saying for example, "Secretary Weinberger's note clearly shows that President Bush has not been telling the truth when he says he was out of the loop." Clinton added, "It demonstrates that President Bush knew and approved of President Reagan's secret deal to swap arms for hostages."

Yup unprecedented, unAmerican, Deeply troubling.

I guess we can say that SOS Clinton Knew and approved of Huma's yahoo email since she sent / received emails from it.

The Washington Post reported that Abedin did not regularly use the laptop she regarded as her husband’s, citing an anonymous source who added that Abedin’s lawyers did not even search the device when they turned over her emails to the State Department for records.

hmmm I did not have email relations with that device, Weiner must have figured out my password and planted it or something.

Comey needs to focus on stopping terrorists and protecting America, not investigating our soon to be President-Elect Hillary Clinton.”

IF he was a partisian republican I honestly believe that when Lynch put it all on his shoulders over the summer - he would have pushed to have a grand jury then, not wait and hope that someone would drop more information in his lap that he could not just overlook again.

I am personally waiting on an indictment / bus tossing of Huma - as there are reports of her forwarding as well as Clinton sending information to the account to be printed because the secured system was so hard to deal with.  I have a feeling that since Huma was with her 24-7 for so long that many of the emails may give lots more insight into the inner workings of Hillary's time at State as well as the foundation since Huma worked at the Foundation. Teneo and State dept.

Prosecutors with the U.S. attorneys office in the Eastern District of New York — which Loretta Lynch led before taking over as attorney general last year — refused to allow FBI investigators probing the Clinton family charity to review emails found on devices turned over this year by two of Clinton’s lawyers during the separate investigation into the mishandling of classified information on Clinton’s private email system.

The rationale, according to The Journal, was that the devices were covered by partial immunity and limited-use agreements that the Clinton lawyers — Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson — agreed to with the DOJ. Information recovered from the laptops could only be used in the email investigation and not in others.

So chances are the DOJ spiked the evidence due to immunity or limited use agreements on the origional evidence.  Anyone wonder why Comey waited for the warrent on this new information ???
