Al.com lied about Amazon Tax

I just ordered something from Amazon and no 8% AL sales tax was added as al.com said would happen after the first of November. Has anyone seen tax added to Amazon order, or is al.com (B-hood News) lying as usual. Don't ever trust a liberal "news" outlet.
