I voted for Obama twice.  The first time was because I was so angry about the whole Iraq invasion and just a host of other issues.  The second time I just found I could not support Romney. At first, I was very happy that Obama was finally going to do something about healthcare.  But then there was a lot of missteps by Obama in foreign policy, he didn't close Gitmo, he didn't put an end to our involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq, we spent a bunch of money "rebuilding Afganistan" that got us nothing, and he went around apologizing for GWB and the US.  The roll out of the ACA was a disaster and the resulting program was terrible. I just found that he didn't deliver on hope and change or much of anything else and he has been a weak President. 

Now everyone wants to get rid of the electoral college. Watching talking heads on TV this morning, the Democrats are now sure if Bernie had been the candidate over Hillary that they would have beat Trump.  You know how hindsight is always 20/20. 

I'm not liking some of  the appointments that Trump is making.  Bannion has ties to White Supremists, and he's talking about appointing John Bolton or Rudy Guiliani as Secretary of State. You may remember that BoltonI  was the Ambassador to the UN and pissed everyone off.  He's a neo-con and a hawk.  Rudy said on some TV show last night that he had turnd down AG and was holding out for Secretary of State.  He'd be a disaster.  I had really hoped that he would make some excellent picks and not just his buds from the campaign.  In the meantime he has cut Christy and Mike Rodgers out.  I still think he was a better choice than Hillary, but I still hope that he can put together a good team.
