He has been dubbed super mayor because of all his "moments" as mayor that set him up as such a hero. He rushed into a burning building "with nothing but his bare hands" and saved a woman's life, he happened up on a dog left outside in freezing weather and saved its life, he stopped at an accident scene on the freeway and saved another, he took a snow shovel and cleared a little old ladies driveway during a blizzard, and of  ourselves let's not forget he actually forced himself to live on food stamps for a week. The list just keeps going. Funny thing is the media is always around to capture these events. I understand as mayor he has media around more than most but I don't know of media following any other mayor of a mid sized city 24/7 to always catch these heroic events.

As to the food stamp stunt that program is named Snap or Supplemental Nutrional Assistance Program. Right there in the name it says supplemental, meaning it is designed to assist, not be the sole source of the bennificiaries food purchases. It is not designed nor funded to provide all the food needed for families. Personally I think his handlers went to far with this stunt and it will backfire on him. Especially since he is on record and videotape praising Sessions for his work in the civil rights arena. He should have no problem beating shrillary for the Democrat nomination in 2020, but moochelle will give him trouble.
