The ACA has helped a great number of people in our country. Copper's well written thoughts are worth reading for all the regulars that post on this forum. Clinton's shortcomings pale in comparison to the dangers that a Trump Presidency would open us up to. One certainly does not have to a a "liberal" to see these dangers.

This shouldn't be an ongoing partisan debate between Republicans and Democrats. The affordable care act,is a good thing but was only a half step.

A few good things came from it which could have been accomplished without this ungodly juggernaut of legislation that had to be passed to see what is in it.  Keeping kids on insurance, remove roadblocks to pre-existing conditions.   The fact that you as a physican can refer to is as a good thing and only a half step to the VA clinic or medicare ( single payer examples ) shows that you need to visit Bradford.

The Daily Caller reports that DeWayne Hamlin, CEO of the VA's hospital in Puerto Rico, was axed for allegedly offering an employee $305,000 to quit "after she played a role in exposing his drug arrest." 

In addition, the Caller says, another person given the boot was a woman "who took part in an armed robbery, then kept her job while she was in jail, and continued to work in the hospital's security office while wearing an ankle bracelet."

The Caller says after its News Foundation learned of the case, "administrators told Congress it wasn't true … before backtracking and claiming that it was impossible to fire employees for off-duty crimes."
