I think I trust the Pentagon on this one.  Putin has denied things before, when it was clear what was going on.  I saw a clip on the news today with Putin saying their was no proof of the use of chemical weaspons by Assad.  I guess those people just gassed themselves.  I'm not much on conspiracy theories, and given the way the press feels about Trump, if they couldn't verify it, they wouldn't report it, or they would expose him as a liar.  And I believe the Secretary of Defense.
