CNN has taken the lead in promoting fake news about Trump and this weekend was no exception.  Friday they ran a piece about some Russia fund and Trump campaign advisor that turned out to be totally false.  They were forced to pull the piece and issue a retraction that said, and be prepared for a full on belly laugh, it did not meet their "journalistic standards".  Well that's setting the bar low.  And guess where the phony news came from?  None other than the office of Senataor Fauxahontas of Taxachuesetts.  Internally they have now commanded that all pieces that deal with Russia has to be reviewed and approved by some Sr. VP.  That is a stunning indictment of their lack of journalistic ethics.  Combine all this with several firings lately when their employees went full on TDS and you have a collapsing news organization in turmoil.

What these left wing nut govt media outlets don't understand is that their constant drumbeat of fake news to hamper the Trump administration and carry the water for the Democrats will only accomplishes three things:  1) no one is going to believe them when they tell the truth (don't laugh...they occasionally commit a random act of journalism); 2) people are getting weary of this issue and it could backfire in 2018 and 2020; and 3) they are sending the message that they are actually the Democrat party and all its politicians (the few that are left) actually work for them.  Of course those of us with a brain already knew that but it seems to be dawning on a wider swath of Americans.
