I guess McCain wanted to bury the ax in Trump one last time.  I had a friend who was a POW in Hanoi with McCain, and he had nothing good to say about McCain.  He would not define the problem (like all good soldiers), but he just said McCain was not liked by the other POWs.  That opinion has stuck with me thru the years, and ever since he ran for Pres, I have lowered my opinion till today.  He voted as a personal revenge to Trump....period.  He is going out on a very low note.
