  The reality is the "alt-right" protestors"that had a permit. It was challenged in court and the judge ruled they had a legal permit and absolute right to their rally. The BLM and antifa had no such permit. Therefor the the place should have protected the rally and not allowed any "anti" anything close to the rally. They should have protected the peaceful, lawful, permitted rally. Who among us doesn't belive that if the situation were reversed no anti-protest would have made it anywhere near the BLM rally. There would have been "free speech zones" set up well away from the rally and and anti-protest folks would have been herded into them, not allowed to wreck havoc on a legal rally, much less allowed to attack cops. McCauliff would have had the National Guard to to protect the BLM. Only enough of the and-protesters, AKA according to the media "white sumpremist", would be allowed to get a good video clip and sound bite for TV to "prove" they are racist.

  Even FOX News was referring to them as white Supreme st this morning. Wanting to protect the white heritage is not white supremacy.revisionist history is the real danger to this country. Today's politics looks just like Orwells 1984. Animal Farm is another good comparison. We are created equal, but some (politicians and elites) are apparently more equal in America today.

  Whether one thinks the original rally was right, wrong or indifferent it was permitted and legal and should have been protected. But that wouldn't fit with Governor slimeballs agenda. I hope the permit holders sue. The proof of the agendas is what happened after violence broke out. The right called on its supporters to disperse and the left just kept up the attack, after there was no rally to protest. Even if I don't agree with what you say, I will defend your right to say it, as long as it is done peacefully.
