You are absolutely correct, lifer. George Orwell was prescient. It disgusts me to see how politicians and the media distort facts and spew propoganda. Media says that the "right wingers" came with helmets and shields, so obviously they intended to fight not protest. What a crock, they knew they would get no protection from the democrat msyor, so they brought some protection. The only innocents were the right wing protestors. Blm, mayor, governor, and other officials are just a mob of thugs. But millions of people will believe the lies, because they are too corrupt or stupid to use logic and see the truth.

Went back and found this where Archie has his panties in a wad. where Moldyoldy indicated that the Right wing was innocent and BLM, Mayor and Gov were a mob of thugs.

1. Right wing had a permit, and expected no protection from mayor/ police department, brought their own.

2. Did not get any protection from mayor / police department as expected

3. Did not get a safe zone or anything else that a left wing group would have received.

4. left wing showed up, reports of attacks on right wing, press and several others.

5. Police stood by and allowed protest to turn violent, and in some instances blocked people from getting away from the antifa/BLM crowd.

6. Left wing had no permits.

ACLU confirms that police were given stand-down order. This invited the violence the city used to shut down a court-permitted protest.

So Police were told not to do anything until told. The Mayor and the Police department allowed the violence to happen. Soungs to me like the definition of Thugs.

So then since you are wanting us to condemn Moldyoldy here - I take it you agree that it is acceptable to allow violence to happen to someone you do not agree with as long as the violence is for political gain or to stop someone you agree with. I have yet to see your condemnation of BLM / AntiFa for their actions which speaks volumns in that you have no problems with the riots, arson, Pigs in a Blanket Fry them like Bacon comments. It is funny to me that you expect everyone to condemn that which you do not like while refusing to condemn anyone on the left which you obviously agree with since you have not condemned their words or actions.

Since the Charlottsville riot, there was another rightwing rally and counter protest in Boston - Police did their jobs and kept the groups apart

With the Charlottesville violence still fresh, Boston police said they took extra precautions, implementing a tight security plan to stave off any bloody battles. The plan was largely successful and there were no major incidents.
