The weather guys knew it was coming.  So wait and see?

My system from the zillions of FEMA dollars for flood prone areas would be such:

Take the topo maps and make a cellphone/web site that gives you a red yellow or green screen.

The position of the phone or your address punched in gives the result.

Red get out now.  Yellow you decide.  Green stay.

It also might have the closest place to go and GPS directions to that area.

Turn all 6 lanes into the heck out of the city direction.

I just don't see letting your car swim while you eat cold chicken noodle soup in the dark a viable alternative.

Wonder if dysentary and demokrap will be used in the same sentence?
