Probably more to do with his screaming "Defend it Defend it" against Manafort and the Russian connection - Before it was know that the defense would be Holy $hit snacks - Manafort who is the lynch pin in his argument that Trump colluded with the Russians was working for the Podesta brothers who are now also compromised right up in Hillarys back yard.

He is in hiding till the next anti republican news cycle like the good little coward that he is.
