I have been coming to my place since 1955 and I must admit that I love this higher water this late in the fall. The fall has always been my favorite time on the lake, but I have seen it down so low right after Labor Day in years past. Thanks to the APC and other people that made it possible. Everything has changed so much over all these years on the lake but it it still a little like a place we look for St Peter to be standing at the gate.
