I haven't noticed in your past posts that you have refrained from criticising others when their posts don't survive your scrutiny. With that being said, I just wondered why you gave me a pass by saying you didn't want to embarrass me by responding to my post.  As a 77 year old senior citizen, I  have weathered a few storms and I am willing to accept criticism where criticism is due. Without continuing to beat a dead dog, wiil you confirm or deny that you are an English professor?
