They only like amendments they like and want to abridge those they don't. No one argues that there can't be limitations on each of the amendments but what people don't get is that they don't create a right. The amendments affirm certain rights and constrain the government from unreasonably limiting those rights. Any abrigdgement of those rights has to be limited, reasonable and prudent. What the left wants vis-a-vis the 2nd is none of those.
I do like the idea of poll tax. It would be the end of the Democrat party as they would lose the illegals, multiple votes...heck, half or more of their constituency.
