This has been going on for a while and is not exactly news to those of us that are informed.  I suggest you look at the states that have approved this and let us know when was the last time any of these states delegates went to a GOP candidate.  My view is this could backfire bigly for them.  For all of these states the GOP Presidential vote is dampened due to people realizing their vote was meaningless.  This could motiviate many more GOP voters to go to the polls in blue states than ever before.  How ironic would it be if all of these states end up sending their delegates to the GOP candidate despite the fact that their state wanted to support a Democrat.  So the reality is that as of today this is meaningless.  And if they end up having to support a GOP candidate you can bet they will reverse this in a heartbeat.
