I used to love this forum. Everyone commented respectfully, the comments seemed well thought out. I re-thought a few things I thought my mind was set on. I enjoyed reading different perspectives from people who lived in my area of the US. I grew up middle class in Alabama, got pregnant at 19 (while on birth control pill), wasn't married, couldn't afford a baby, had an abortion. Later married, I have worked since I was 15 (babysitting), have a BS degree, and a great job. My mother, who was a teenager in the 1940s, talked about 1-2 girls she knew who died from back alley abortions. It seems we can all agree on some things, abortion is tragic, out of wedlock babies not the best way to raise children, domestic violence is bad, lying is bad. All of that is not why I started this post. My point is most of you seem to be well educated, reasoned people -- why do you resort to childish, for lack of a better word, "spelling" taunts, why not set an example and be respectful to people you don't agree with. I wake up everyday asking for a better world and I believe it starts with me.

i know I will probably get some ugly comments from this post, but I hope some of you read it, and think next time you post.
