what an interestng article.  The west does not understand how integral Islam is to life for Muslims.  It guides their every move includng prayer 5 times a day, whether you are a peasant or a King.  As the article points out, Muslims are Muslim first and foremost - unlike Western people who feel a sense of their nationality. Many Muslims come from a long history of Tribal people, so they don't identify with nationalism.  A strong central govenment is not something they undersand - religious leaders, and village elders play a much bigger role in their lives than any central government.  I've long felt that the U.S. has no idea about Muslims (although we seem to have a plethora of people claiming to be experts).  Family honor is a big deal, and it is their duty to kill a family member who has brought dishonor to the family name.  

The Ko'ran talks about killing Infidels - and all of us are Infidels.  They may do business with us because they feel they have to, but they will never like us.  They don't trust us.  They think we are sinful and our way of life is an affront to Allah.  They believe Western Women are sluts.
