As for downtown Atl...have you seen what has happened to residential values in downtown Atl over the last 10 years?  I guarantee you its a ghetto anybody as narrow-minded an idiot as you are unlikely to be able to afford! The population increase of the City of Atlanta alone (not metro...just the city) in recent years has been about the same as the entire state of Allerbammer so I guess it can't be all that bad.
