So tell us wise one, but hat exactly would you tell APCO? Besides they are doing a wonderful job of water management. We. Lost a little water during the extended full pool due to dry conditions. Then when Florence  forecast showed a possible path across north Georgia (where our water comes from) they lowered it several more inches to help hold potential flood waters. Now the flood threats have passed the water went back up a foot or so. Get over it!

A few years ago we would already be several feet down by now. Plug date used to be early September right after labor day. Now if conditions allow we get full pool till mid October. Over a month of extra water to enjoy. Do you even know what the "rule curve" is and how APCO is required to maintain certain flow rates downstream, regardless of our level. The lake was built to generate electricity  and provide flood control. Our recreation is just a nice added benefit that doesn't figure in any of the decision making over water level. And BTW, FERC determines the rule curve, no APCO.

Bottom line is stop whining and complaining about the water level.
