probably not going to let either in my house, but will call 911 either way.  if someone appears to be fearful of their life we can sit on the porch and I will warn anyone else who approaches to sit in the yard with hands visable till the cops get there or get some bird shot their direction and let the cops figure it out.

If they actually break down my front door and enter - all bets are off and they get the body bag.  Their "reason" at that point no longer matters.

So you do you and wait till someone breaks down your door and you attempt to determine if that man, woman or other pronoun is fearing rape or some other bodily harm from someone else before you protect your family - chances are much better that the person who just kicked down your door and is now wandering around the livingroom is not running from a rape or other physical harm.
