Righto.....those real estate partnerships were a bad deal for the investors.  Risk and reward Goofy.  But the fact remains that Trump has made money on his investments for both him and his partners.  Hence, his net worth, his private jet, his many homes, etc.  Ya take your chances and sometimes it works out and others times it doesn't.  Everyone involved in those transactions were willing to take the risk in the hope of getting the upside.  Didn't work out.  But unlike Bernie and Hillary, he has generated lots of wealth and they pissed away the billion plus that the left wing rubes invested in them.  And it looks like Bernie is going to cash in again.  The bible said it best about a fool and his money......
