Please explain the stupidity of my remark I am kinda dense.

Steel or iron is made by electrical power and lots of it by either direct arc or induction. I spent most of my career in a ductile iron foundry. The vagaries of wind and minuscule power output seem to make dependenct on this source of power rather doubtful at best.
