Well sweeping would be more then they actually did - of the three things that keep a fire burning - which one can be removed easily when there is not a fire? Oxygen? How about "remove fuel source" which could involve some controlled burns which would remove fuel and keep a fire from becoming that large.... but then again you are insane and want to say maybe some sweeping would fix it.... but then again you voted for corruption in a pants suit who wanted to what .. like wipe it with a cloth.....
