THE GOATS OF GOAT ISLAND NEED YOUR HELP!

IF YOU LOVE GOAT ISLAND PLEASE READ

The owners and care takers of Goat Island are Rickie and Stacy Baker . 

 

(my personal opinion)(

The Bakers do not get paid to lend their goats to goat island. The food and health care these goats receive is NOT Free. When one is sick Stacy and Rickie are immediately there and taking care of the issue and they get no emergency pay!

 

They lend these goats to the island, for many simple reasons. 

They own the goats and enjoy their company and want to share them with all of us around Lake Martin.

 

Their family has long been involved in keeping these goats on goat island for all us on Lake Martin. They just are taking over for their parents and grandparents. 

 

Lately our friends Rickie and Stacy have been over-whelmed with questions and requirements from Alabama Power Company. Many of these New requirements will be extra burden on the Baker's. 

So next week, we will be meeting to discuss the best way to handle these pressing issues.

I for one, do not want to loose The Goats on Goat Island. 

I think we owe it to our Children and Children's Children to make sure we take a stand and help Rickie and Stacy keep these Goats on the Island!
