Alabama has a Democratic Senator as a direct result of a surge in turnout among African American women in Alabama. Obama won decisive majorities because of black turnout, and #45 is energizing that group along with voters under the age of 40. That's why there was such a huge blue wave in the midterm. There are far too many racists in the country, but there are not enough to insure another win for #45.
