Does anyone know if Lake Martin has been tested for the Blue/green Algae that is posing a threat to dogs? If you have not heard, there is an algae bloom in frush water lakes, ponds, streams that if ingested by your dog, will kill the dog within a few hours. From what I have read, the only way to be sure it is not present is for the water to be tested. I haven't heard of any problems yet in Central Alabama, but a number of dogs have died in other southern states.
