Regarding the potential for fewer youth seeking a career in the healthcare industry, we are witnessing that now.  How could one expect to repay mid six figure student loans with Medicare reimbursement rates.  Granted, I would expect that reimbursement will most likely be greater than Medicare/Medicaid rates currently, but not significant enough to warrant the anxiety associated with that degree of debt.  So add on to EW's plan the cost of tuition reimbursement for countless numbers of medical school students for 4 years of school.  Not to mention the salaries for PGY1-7 residents.....
