It would be great if politicans were ethical and did the right thing, but in the world where that happens rainbow unicorns can be used for high speed transit.

You may not be able to legislate morality, but you can damn sure punish people who do bad - and you have to apply it across the board.  We are where we are because politicans are immoral, self enriching stunted unethical trolls.  They pass legislation that applys to everyone(but them).  Make them 100% accountable to all laws they pass including insider trading with stiff punishments.  Lapses in ethics that can be proven gets you removed from office, loss of pension, retirements, any benifits - and unable to run for any elected office anywhere state or national.

As for the ambassadors - they serve the president to enact HIS foreign policy, not the other way around.  From what I am reading of the transcripts most seem just pissy because they were not able to keep following the Obama foreign policy and just do not do well with change. The other side of that coin may be that some of them were helping to hide criminal acts under Obama.

Anyone who becomes president next should fire everyone they can from every agency they can  and start over, I would not blame them at all.

I think Washington could have used and can still use a lot of chaos to get their schift together.  We have seen what happens when the media is 99% all in for whatever a president wants to do and only worships at his feet, and now we have seen what happens with the media is 99% aginst a president.  

Personally I think the propaganda media should be considered a campaign contribution to the DNC.
