says that Trump broke the law when he held up the aid to Ukraine, according to some "bi-partisan", objective group (sorry, having a senior moment). I don't see how that could possibly be. Yes, he delayed the release of the aid, but they still got it and it was obligated within the same year it was allocated by the Congress. I'm sorry, I would have posted the link, but the WoPo won't allow a link to their articles unless you are a subsciber. I've worked from special allocations from Congress to a given purpose before and as long as it was obligated in the year it was allocated, it wasn't a problem. (because it is one year money and if it isn't obligated, they lose it).
Does anyone have any idea what could be the thinking behind this claim?
