I have no real opinion about the monarchy itself, and I expect it will change once the Queen is gone.  I don't know how stuffy it is, but when you marry into it, you are marrying more than just a man or a woman.  I actually like that they maintain standards.  Meghan married in and decided that everything had to be her way - and that is not how it works.  You conform to it, it doesn't conform to you.  While they are younger, Harry and Meghan are not all that young - not far off the age of William and Catherine.  I think the problem is that Meghan wants to live the celebrity, jet setting life, not a life of service.  It's not for everyone.  I understand that the Queen wanted to strip them of their Duke and Duchess title too, and it won't surprise me to see it happen after a bit.  I guess I think that if you want the perks, you have to live with the rules.  While Canada is welcoming at the moment, it may find having them there more of a burden as time goes on.  

Oh yeah, and Meghan says she will not live in the U.S. as long as Trump is President.  As if living in LA, California is living in the U.S.
