Remember, this is an unfinished manuscript which was leaked to the NYT at a most interesting and strategic moment to try to force wishy-washy GOP Senators to vote for witnesses so the jury can finish with the incompetent prosecution by Fadler and Pencil Neck.  It's almost as if the NYT is colluding with the Democrats in the House to influence the election by releasing damaging information about a candidate that is based on anonymous sources that later turns out to be untrue or distorted...but damage done and mission accomplished and the retraction will be on the bottom of page A-17 in small letters.

Time will tell if this is an accurate account but Bolton's lawyers don't seem to deny that is what he wrote.  Interestingly, if the editors at the NYT have the manuscript there is no exec privilege claim.  One would think that the NSC would have to approve of the manuscript before its released to editors without security clearance.  Either way, this book will likely sell if it feeds TDS.
