When you look at the multiple instances of the impeachment managers insulting Senators and Fauxahontas insulting Roberts I have come to believe they never wanted witnesses.  The reality is they know that neither Bolton nor Mulvaney are going to say anything new and that neither will turn the tide when it comes to the vote.  There was never a path to 2/3rds with these articles. And I think they know that if there was a vote for witnesses there would be a lengthy legal battle over executive privilege, which they will likely lose.  Meanwhile, Pencil Neck, the Biden's, Ciaramella and others would be up there pleading the 5th over and over again.

So now their strategy is to claim that Trump was never really put on trial and wasn't acquitted because of a lack of witnesses.  For sure the real winners of this are Crazy Bernie, Fauxahontas, Nasty Amy, etc. who can finally get back on the campaign trail.  And the other big winner is Trump because regardless of what the Democrats and their masters in the media claim, he will be saying loud and clear every chance he gets that he was innocent and it was a sham and a hoax and he was acquitted.  And all the while the Democrat House got literally nothing else done....which in my humble opinion is actually a side benefit of impeachment.
