I got in touch with McAffee and found out what is going on.  What I am getting is a pop-up advertising window so McAffee doesn't stop it.  tech support walked me through changing a couple of setting within MS edge to help but most importantly taught me how to get out of it with out having to reboot.  Has been a real pain in the ass, and the ears at times because it would emit a high pitched squeal along with the alert.  There are a couple of different versions of it and it seems to get more aggressive over time, but that could just be my patience running thin.  I did call the number though just to cuss them like the low life dogs they are once I knew it was just a call center trying to scam me for money to"fix" my computer.  It was very cathartic...lol.  I looked up a couple of Indian (red dot, not skin) insults to throw at them too. 

I was baffled because my McAffee kept telling me I had no threats and was safe but it keeps happening.  But now I know how to work around.  It seem to happen a lot on Whatfinger but has happened a time or two on other sites.  I may be partially to blame too because sometimes out of sheer boredom I will succumb to click bait items just enough to get the gist of the story.  I have a lot of spare time this time of year and can only play so much solitaire...lol.
