Funny how silent you've been lately until there's bad news to crow about.  You are the poster child for the belief that Democrats love bad news for Americans as long as they think its good news for their candidates.  Bet you're on your knees nightly praying that COVID-19 kills a bunch of Americans, sends the world into depression and kills millions of people because it will hurt Trump, right?  Examine your soul Archie, its a very dark and sad place in desperate need of redemption.

But I would remind you Archie that when Trump took office in January 2016 the Dow was around 19,000.  Even with all these temporary corrections it has still grown over 10% per year during Trump's presidency.  I'll take 10% annual growth in my 401(k) any day, especially when that growth did not occur coming out of a recession where markets are expected to grow faster.  Think about it Archie, markets grow like crazy coming out of a recession and the long-term average is around 7%.  So Trump, even with these temporary corrections does 10% in good years and beats the long-term trends after a 10% correction....simply amazing  Heck, Obama only got 16% and he took over at the end of a recession.  Both Reagan and Clinton blew him away on post-recession performance.  

As for me, I've got $200K in cash and am waiting for the correction to end so I can put that money to work.  Buy the dip.
