in actual human trials and until such trial occur no conclusions can be drawn.  A similar drug is proving to be promising and somewhat effective in about 70% of the patients receiving the drug in a 1500 patient trial but there must be more and larger trials and extensive research including whether there are any permanent negative reactions.  Losartin, the drug I have taken for years for hypertension, is also being investigated since it seems to make it difficult for the Coronavirus pathogen to attach to healthy cells.  A few days ago somebody posted another link to a rightwing site talking about another for certain cure, an HIV drug...well it has now been proved to be of no meaningful use in treating Covid -19.

Maybe we should let the researchers do the work to come up with a treatment rather than depending on political websites or the words of a politician who is trying to make up for complete incompetence during 11 of the last 12 weeks not to mention other screw ups as far back a 2 years ago.
