Yes, I am proud of my Southern Heritage, and yes, I understand why someone like you would not understand.  My ancestors came to the South in the early 1700s, settled here and built a heritage...no, you wouldn't understand.  My great grandfather died as a soldier during the War Between the States.  Does the South mean a lot to me, yes it does, and it means a lot to many, many other people in the South.  Is the South about slavery, as you stated....absolutely not....I never met a slave...have you?  You have no concept or understanding of anything you post about....it must be a lonely world.
