While a nice gesture, giving someone a flag that has flown over tha Capitol isn't quite like it sounds.  It conjures up visions of a flag that has flown for some time, yet that is far from the case.  When I worked for a different company we did some consulting for Health and Human Services, and their headquarters building is close to the Capitol.  Visible from HHS is a flagpole over the Capitol, and all day long there is a detail of people raising and lowering US flags.  Each flag technically flew over the Capitol, although just long enough to say it was there, then it was lowered, folded, and tucked away for presentation to the chosen person. 

We don't get anywhere close to the same reaction when one of our African American military is brought back in a body bag from defending his country overseas.  There is a BIG difference in electing to put yourself in harm's way to keep our countr safe and free, and being the chance victim of a bad cop while trying to pass a fake twenty.  I find Pelosi's stunt utterly reprehensible not because Floyd's family got some attention but because Pelosi is milking it for everything she can.
