See the graphs below and you will see that Georgia is doing just fine.  I would note that for six weeks following the reopening the number of cases and deaths were steadily declining.  Then we had all the protests in Fulton, Dekalb and Cobb counties and no surprise, we see a spike.  And all this while mask usage is way more common than ever before......makes one wonder, eh?  They are projecting the cases to begin to decline as we move further from the protests now that the woke crowd of young people are back to playing xbox and posting their wokeness on social media.  Oh, and the state continues to be better than its peak in cases and deaths per million (16th and 17th, respectively).

I was all for the protests as it would result in tons of new infections of younger people which will get us closer to herd immunity.  So see below as deaths continue to decline, plenty of hospital beds available (too many as people are still avoiding elective procedures), ICU beds and ventilators are still in great shape.  Of course as with anything we cannot rest on our laurels and need to maintain social distancing and personal hygiene and if it makes you feel better wear your masks!
