I thought Jared was in charge and now they suggest healthcare professionals reuse masks and other protective equipment. The ineptness of  Trump's administration to handle supplies is now getting serious with new cases. His only defense is Obama left no inventory. Yet, Trump has had 3 years to replenish the stock and did nothing.

In case you didn't notice it we have been in the midst of a pandemic for five months.  News flash, PPE is being used and now that the gov't is mandating that people wear masks is it any surprise that the inventory went lower?  And who could have imagined we would all need these masks as three short months ago the brilliant, eminent, all knowing Fauci told us they don't work.

Time to rename it Trumpflew in honor of the money he spends flying on AirForce One to his many golf games and rallies. He takes no salary but sure burns through money flying around the country to entertain his ego.

It's the Wuhan ChiCom Chinese virus silly boy......oh, and by the way flu is spelled f-l-u, not flew.

Health care workers fear another shortage in personal protective equipment (PPE) as some states see a new surge of coronavirus cases and hospitalizations, and the U.S. government issued new guidance to reuse face masks, gowns and other equipment.

The key term here is "fear".  They don't know do they?  Who did they talk to?  How do they know there is a shortage?  Heck, I get 20 emails a day from companies offering to sell me N95 masks and all other PPE except Clorox or Lysol wipes.  There is no shortage.

Vice President Mike Pence made the announcement on Wednesday at the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing, saying that PPE supplies remain “very strong,” but the Trump administration will be encouraging health care workers “to use some of the best practices” to “preserve and reuse” face masks and other protective equipment.

A nonprofit group called #GetUsPPE was established in March by physicians to help distribute donated protective gear. The group said they have seen a surge in requests in the last two weeks of June for more gear from health facilities that are not hospitals.

Sounds prudent to me to use best practices as there is always uncertainty in the trajectory of a pandemic.  But I can assure you if there is a shortage it will be caused by Governors and Mayors mandating masks, not from a rise in cases.
