So the goal of closures was to flatten, spread out and delay the curve, right? Below are two graphs. One shows theoretical curves with and without measures. The second shows a comparison of various states. Notice that the NY/NJ curve matches the peak curve with no measures and the others are for those that implemented successful measures that worked.....and they are being pilloried by the ignorant press who relies of the scientific illiteracy of the masses.... NY and NJ were not a success.....they were an abject failure caused by incompetent governors. How many people died needlessly in NY and NJ? Estimated 6,000-10,000 in NY nursing homes alone.
