In 1996 I placed some 5 inch steel posts as far into the sand and muck around my pier as I could. I filled each hole with as much concrete as it would hold. Water went down 10 feet in winter back then so I had semi dry land to operate with. I covered each post with a six inch PVC.
Those posts have lasted well but the New Age boats, more wake surfing, Tubers Galore, Time and The Landing have taken their toll on the posts and one has bitten the dust, or drank the koolaid.
I want to have some HUGE posts driven in to replace them. What is the process for that? How much does it costs just to have the posts driven in (per post)? I am hoping someone has some recent experience.
Thanks
