You (WE) have an obligation to be compassionate towards and to try to protect even the dull and ignorant. For… if they cannot think for themselves and are politically impressionable… your duty is to stymie efforts to exploit them (e.g. you… being smarter and wiser… have good reason not to allow your dog to go into the street).

On the other hand… you have a right to the respect and consideration of those greater than you. And, you should require [of] them to look out for your best interest.

We are ALL equal in God’s eyes.
