Just fill the fuel tank with non-ethanol and add a container of Seafoam or something similar. Let the foot all the way down so all the water can drain out. It would also be good if you can change the engine oil before winter. No need to fog. If you can, occasionally (once a month) drop it in the water and crank it and let it run for 10 to 15 minutes then raise it back up and let the water drain back out of the engine/foot. Keep a slow trickle charge on the battery.
