If 8 months ago President Trump had told the American people what he told Bob Woodward and mounted a ''crusade'' to defeat the Virus instead of saying it was going to just disappear; if he had urged all Americans to stay home if possible, social distance, and wear a mask as an act ot patriotism; if he had established the attitude of Gov Cuomo and had a weekly ''fireside  chat'' to tell the people the truth and urge them to hang on and beat this;  if he had just tried to show a little empathy and leadership it is likely that he would be preparing for his 2nd term today rather than crying and whining about how there is no way he could have just been rather badly beaten.  I would not have voted for him but I would accept his victory and MM, Shorty, Rude-evin et al would be congratulating the president on his victory instead of having their knickers in a knot that is likely to get tighter and tighter over the next 4 years. Donald J Trump as well as his supporters have only Donald J Trump to blame.
